⚾️ Step Up to the Plate with MLB Pitch, Hit & Run! ⚾️
Anvil of Hope is proud to partner with Major League Baseball to bring the Pitch, Hit & Run Skills Competition to Spring Valley on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 9:00 AM. This free event gives youth ages 14 and under the opportunity to showcase their baseball skills in pitching, hitting, and running while having fun in a positive, community-focused environment. Participants will enjoy lunch, have the chance to win prizes, and may even advance to the national finals held during the World Series™. Join us at Spring Valley Little League and experience a memorable day of competition, confidence-building, and fun.

OUR MISSION

Anvil of Hope is the non-profit brainchild of Peter and Vicky Zien, who are deeply committed to strengthening our community. The Anvil of Hope vision is to break the cycle of poverty to ensure that EVERYONE has the opportunity to thrive and prosper. We provide mentoring/training/youth enrichment programs to at-risk school children with the goal of keeping them safely engaged in school while developing a desire to pursue education/training beyond high school.
